Escape the Race and Enjoy the Journey
A majority of the world including the corporate world is, knowingly or unknowingly, a part of the race including you! If someone tries to stand out from the crowd we all had witnessed or undergone the ugly side of it and burnt our hands in the pursuit even if he or she has tried harder. Yes I am referring to the Rat Race. As per the Wikipedia, A rat race is an endless, self-defeating, or pointless pursuit. It conjures up the image of lab rats racing through a maze to get the "cheese" much like society racing to get ahead financially. This race seems like humans are competing with another or others to see who is fastest at covering a set course or achieving a set objective. It is a competition in which the point is to win. You’re not supposed to enjoy the ride, learn anything or make community better. You’re supposed to win.
